Born April 19, 1930 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Norvell and Ruby Brown Mitchell and was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Daniel and two siblings, Doris Davis and Bill Mitchell. She was retired from General Electric and was a member of Fairview Christian Church.
Mrs. Daniel is survived by three sons, Thomas R. “Tommy” Daniel (Sandy) of Lynchburg, James D. Daniel (Margaret) of Texas, and Mark S. Daniel (Donna) of Forest; five grandchildren, Bobby, Jared, J.T., Cari, and Lindsay; eight great-grandchildren and a special friend, Rachel Armstead.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Curtis Wheeler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
The family wishes to thank Lynchburg E.M.S. for the times they provided medical services to Mrs. Daniel.
