Born in Matoaka, West Virginia, August 25, 1940, he was the son of the late Creed Roberts and Eva Lancaster Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Creed Roberts and one sister, Sharon Kay Bulson.
He was retired from Pemco Corp. and after moving to Lynchburg he was an over the road truck driver for a number of years. Curtis was an avid NASCAR fan and an overall car enthusiast. He enjoyed working on cars having help to build race car engines in the early years. He was always very focused on his family and whatever was important to them was important to him. He was a member of Mountain View Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, LeAnn Glass and her husband Chris of Goode; two sisters, Janice Lane and Charlotte Lamonds and husband Fred; he brother-in-law, Wayne Bulson and he was called Pop by three grandchildren, Landen Christopher Glass, Greyson Creed Glass and Rachel Grace Glass, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating his life and faith will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Lonni Wickard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia.
