Cynthia Campbell Abbott

Cynthia Campbell “Sandy” Abbott, 66, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Robert “Bobby” Abbott. Born in Lynchburg on October 1, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Campbell and Dinah Campbell. Cynthia was a retired LPN and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by a brother Eddie Campbell. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, John Abbott and wife Christine, daughter Tabitha Abbott; a brother Tommy Campbell, a sister Lulu Epperson; three grandchildren, Hunter, Alexia, and Madison; and her precious dog Ralph. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Chapel of Whitten Timberlake. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00 pm. Whitten Funeral Home & Cremations service, Timberlake Chapel is serving the family
