Daniel Vaughan

Born on August 6, 1929 in Glasgow, Scotland, he was the son of the late Daniel and Winifred Vaughan.

Daniel served in the Royal Air Force in Scotland. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox Navy Nuclear. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling with his wife in their motorhome across the United States.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Michael Vaughan; his brother, James Vaughan; and his sisters, Annie McGuiness and Julia Baxter.

In addition to his wife, Pauline, Daniel is survived by his sons, Daniel Edward Vaughan, Phillip James Vaughan and wife Beverly, and Robert Bruce Vaughan and his wife Teresa; five grandchildren, Kevin Dalton, Melissa Slayton and husband Ryan, Kelly Rae Vaughan and fiancé, John Ashley; Ryan Austin Vaughan, and Robert Adam Vaughan; two great grandsons, Noah Dalton and Cayden Slayton; his sister, Mary Ellen Vaughan; his brother, Michael Vaughan; special close family friends, Mickey and Cindy Pollard; and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral mass will be held at 12 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael D. McCarron officiating.
