Born June 1, 1967 to the late Linda “Diane” Barker and the late Cecil Woodridge Ramsey, Debra was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Cecil W. Ramsey, Jr. and Timothy L. Abbott.
She is survived by her two sons, David Edward May, Jr. and fiancé Heather Bragg of Lynchburg and Dennis Wayne Slusser and fiancé Jessica Long of Huddleston; grandchildren, Dawson May, Noah May, one granddaughter and three more grandsons; step-father, Michael Barker of Lynchburg; step-sister, Francis Barker of Lynchburg; special friend, David May, Sr. of Lynchburg; and a long list of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Debra was a very high strung person that didn’t know a stranger. She loved taking care of the elderly with her mother as a CNA for years, then started as a server where she loved meeting new people of all walks of life. She will truly be loved and missed by everyone.
