Dorothy Faye Farrar Brooks, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clinton Irvin Brooks.

Born October 19, 1929 in Craighead County, AR, she was the daughter of the late Robert Booth Farrar and Erma Brown Farrar. Mrs. Brooks was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. She was of Baptist faith.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by three sons, Gary L. Brooks Windermere, FL, Robert W. Brooks and wife Lynette of Lynchburg, and Ronald K. Brooks and wife Judy of Concord; a brother, Bruce Farrar and wife Joyce of Fort Smith, AR; a sister, Peggy F. Ross of Canton, GA; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Gary Brooks and Robbie Brooks officiating. The family will host a reception following the service.
