

Born May 17, 1930 in Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Horace White and Aurilla Atkins White Cox and was also preceded in death by a sister, Polly Linkous. She was retired from Craddock & Terry Shoe Corp. and later worked for Aunt Weeda’s Closet for 10 years. She was a faithful member of Leawood Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Crouch is survived by three daughters, Brenda Cofer of Lynchburg, Mary Franklin and husband Ronnie of Madison Heights and Jenny H. Kyser, and her fiancé Mark of Amherst; a step-son, Robert E. Crouch of Concord; one half-brother, Garland Cox of Bumpass; one half sister, Judy Ann Cox of Maryland; her nephew, John Linkous and wife Carole of Pennsylvania and a sister in law, Edna Cronin of Monroe; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and her front porch cat Sam. She is also survived by many very dear, caring and devoted friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Lenn Lloyd and the Rev. Dwight Weaver officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel and other times at the residence.
