Faye Carol Jones

Faye Carol Jones, 76, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at her residence. Born January 8, 1940, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson Spruce and the late Cornelia Belle Gilliam Spruce.

Faye was a retired assembly worker for J. Crew Company, and was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Sheila Wooldridge and her husband Lee Sr. of Lynchburg; two siblings, Helen Williams of Lynchburg and Harry Lee Spruce of Forest; three grandchildren, Lee Wooldridge, Jr. and his wife Ruth, Michael Ray Wooldridge and his fiancée Kendyl Yeatts and Brianne Wooldridge and her fiancé Shiloh Pellman; three great grandchildren, Lucas Wooldridge, Landon Wooldridge and Carson Wooldridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted, 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence.
