Francis Kincaid Lincoln Jr., known to many as “Linc”, a beloved son, father, veteran, and entrepreneur, passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 52. He was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on March 4, 1972, to his parents Francis Lincoln Sr. and Kathryn Gayle Rush.
Linc was a self-made man, the proud owner of Dragon Recovery, where he poured his heart and soul into his work. He had an adventurous spirit and was known for his love of riding ATVs, his faithful companion Chewy, and his passion for teaching children about the intricacies of tow trucks. Roller coasters brought him joy, and he had a particular fondness for shrimp and vintage Coke products.
As a proud Navy veteran, Linc exemplified honor, integrity, and service. He was a compassionate and helpful soul, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His honesty and genuine nature endeared him to all who knew him.
Linc had a unique and creative personality, expressed through his love for Batman, dragons, stand-up comedy, and his unconventional way of thinking. He cherished the camaraderie of working alongside his business partner, Susan Hall, at Dragon Recovery.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, remembered fondly by his daughter, Allison Kincaid Lincoln; step-brother, Grant Haynes; half-brother, Aaron Lincoln; father, Francis Lincoln Sr. (Gail); mother, Kathryn Gayle Rush (David Thurlow); and his business partner, Susan Hall.
A celebration of Linc’s life will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel in Lynchburg, Virginia, at 12 pm, with visitation starting at 11 am. The family has entrusted Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the arrangements, as they come together to honor and remember Linc's remarkable journey.
