Georgia Skye Thurmond Georgia Skye Thurmond, infant daughter of George Thomas Thurmond and Audrey Dale Hughes, passed away December 7, 2011.
Survivors also include paternal grandmother, Becky Mashburn, of Lynchburg; two half-brothers, Michael Brizendine, and Cody Thomas Thurmond; and half-sister, Jessica Rene Thurmond. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Thomas Lee Thurmond; and maternal grandparents, Carrie Hughes and Marshall Carter. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 15, 2011, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
