Grace Brown Bell

Born in Amherst County, January 20, 1923, she was a daughter of the late William Brown and Macie Hicks Brown. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

She is survived by four children, Phyllis B. Viar and her husband Sonny, Sandra B. Wilkes and her husband Roger all of Lynchburg, Steve J. Bell and his wife Susan of Rustburg and Faith B. Howard and her husband W.D. of Madison Heights; one sister, Katherine B. Miles of Newark, OH; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Wheeler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel and at other times at her residence.

The family would like to thank Stefanie McKenna, Breanna McKenna and Bubba Rankin for the excellent care they provided to Mrs. Bell.
