Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Harvey Dillon and his parents,Mark Hinchman Dillon and Ada Greene Dillon.


He is survived by his son Mark; daughter, Terri Flowers (Mike); sisters Rita Martin (Jerry) and Wanda Belcher; grandsons, Chad Dillon (Sarah), Nicholas Dillon, Spencer Waters, Shay Flowers, and Sam Flowers; special granddaughter, Mary Grace Falls and his first great granddaughter, Caroline Dillon.
