He was born in Mullins, West Virginia, September 16, 1946. He proudly served our country in the US Navy and was a retail store manager for most of his career. He loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Dillon, his mother, Wanda Bailey Goodman; his step-father who raised him, Frank G. Goodman and his daughter, Dorothy Lee Harris.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Victoria Hart of Hemet, CA; his son, Jason Dillon of Lynchburg; one brother, Lonnie Dillon; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his lifelong friend Billy Mitchell and his four legged companion, Harley.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Keith Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
