Born October 27, 1950, Jackie was well known for his many colorful life stories and for his remarkable ability to connect with everyone he met. He truly never knew a stranger; everyone was simply a friend he hadn’t met yet. Gifted with natural curiosity and talent, Jackie could take on nearly any task, trade, activity, or instrument and master it with ease, becoming a true jack-of-all-trades in every sense of the phrase.
Music was one of Jackie’s greatest loves. He had an extraordinary ear for it, learning to play countless instruments by ear and generously sharing his knowledge with anyone eager to learn. His appreciation and understanding of music ran deep and brought joy to many.
Jackie also had a lifelong passion for fishing. If there was water nearby, he was fishing, especially deep-sea fishing, which held a special place in his heart. Known for his playful teasing, Jackie often joked about his children playing video games, only to later discover his own love for Farming Simulator. He enjoyed it so much that he famously burned the game’s image into his screens and built a remarkably successful digital farming empire. His family now jokingly debates who will inherit this impressive virtual legacy.
Above all else, Jackie’s family meant everything to him. He transformed his life in countless ways to ensure he could be present for those he loved, always putting them first. His devotion, kindness, and unwavering care defined him. With his quick wit, warm heart, and unforgettable sense of humor, Jackie was impossible not to love. He will be deeply and profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
In addition to his parents Jackie was preceded in passing by his brothers Jarrel Deel, Richard Deel, Kenny Deel, Jerry Deel; his grandson-in-law Austin Deak; and great grandbaby (Baby Bean)
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years Cynthia Deel; his siblings Jerrie Wyant and husband Ray, Thomas Deel (Ellen); his 3 beautiful children Jackie Lee Deel.
