James "Jimmy" Robert Gray

James “Jimmy” Robert Gray, age 67 of Lynchburg passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. He was born in Lynchburg on May 9, 1952, son of the late Beverly and Bessie Gray. In addition to his parents, a brother, Junior Gray and a sister, Sandra Davis, preceded him in death. He was retired from Central Virginia Training Center. Jimmy loved fishing. He is survived by his wife, Luanne S. Gray; 3 children, Bru Norconk and wife Heather, Brooke Tymchyn and husband Chris, and Michael Purvis and wife Aimee; 3 grandchildren, Jaxson Tymchyn, Zoee Purvis and Avree Purvis as well as a special niece, Rena Hooss. Services will be private.
