James Phillip Wilson, 79, of Lynchburg, died, Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Vera Marie Wilson. Born March 12, 1932, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Harry William Wilson and the late Roseanne Howard Wilson.
James was a retired, self-employed owner of H & H Leasing and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his son, Dan Wilson and his wife Dawn of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Nicolette Wilson and Jessica Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted, 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Mooney officiating.
