Janice Marie Shelton

Born in Lynchburg, December 7, 1965, she was the daughter of Richard Henry “Dickie” Denton and Shirley Wooten Denton of Rustburg. She was and employee of Kershbamer Wood Working and was a member of New Chapel Baptist Church. Springtime was Janice’s favorite time of the year, she loved flowers and planting in her yard. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and finding great bargains at Goodwill. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Samantha Shelton; two grandchildren, Julianna and Jaycen Harless and four sisters, Terri, Sue Jody and Brenda.

A graveside service celebrating her life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the New Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
