Jean Miear Mason

Born on December 23, 1931 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Hammond Miear and Lennis Miear. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Mason and her brothers Ernest Miear, Buck Miear, Bruce Miear, Chuck Miear and sisters Dorothy Miear, Eula Witt, Edith Tyree, Geneva Maddox and Erma Coleman.

She was a retired seamstress but worked for over 15 years at the Colonial Restaurant where she loved cooking and baking. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Rebecca Lacy and her husband Jack, Linda Pulliam and her husband Herschel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11a.m. at Virginia Memorial Park with the Reverend Dr. David Turner officiating.
