Jennifer Danielle Moreland

Jennifer was a member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Blackwater Rollers of Lynchburg, VA, and the Rocktown Rollers of Harrisonburg, VA.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Jane Mason; and her grandfather, Carroll O. Brumfield.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her best friend in life, Robert Smith of Lynchburg; two brothers, Jeremy David Moreland and Jordan Daniel Moreland, both of Rustburg; one sister, JilliAn Denise Moreland of Rustburg; one grandmother, Billie June Brumfield of Forest; one grandfather, Donald Moreland of Jewitt, OH; one nephew, Evan James Bethel of Chillicothe, OH; great uncle, Frank Smith and great aunt Mae Waters, both of Madison Heights; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was loved and will be missed by coaches, refs and fellow derby girls.

A funeral service will be conducted, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Hyland Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Weiser officiating. Interment will follow at Tree of Life Cemetery, Altavista, VA.

The family will receive friends, 6-8:30 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence of David and Robin Moreland.
