Jerry Wayne Woody Sr., 57, of Lynchburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Lynchburg on December 16, 1964, he was the son of the late Cary Woody and Virginia B. Woody. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Woody.

He is survived by his children, Josh Clark (April), Jason Clark (Casey), Amber Woody and Jerry Wayne Woody, Jr. (Brianna); grandchildren Kaileigh Clark, Colin Clark, Ruxin Clark, LJ Clark, Corrina Clark, Cody Dennis, Matthew Dennis, Sophia Woody and Alina Woody; and two brothers, Steve Woody (Sheila) and Randy Woody (Brenda). He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at Whitten Timberlake Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor William Westgate officiating.
