Jimmy was born on September 9, 1947 in Carrol County, Virginia to the late Minor L. Lang and the late Frances G. Lang. He is also preceded in death by one daughter, Melinda L. Lang.
Jimmy was a retired truck driver for BFI Waste Management. He had a passion for hunting and working on small engines. Above all, he cherished his family and the time he spent with them. He will be greatly missed.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda L. Lang, stepfather, Walter L. Lang, and his children, Milissie L. White, Teresa Zuniga (Dennis), Amanda L. Williams (Jason), Arlene L. Bortzer, and Jimmy R. Lang, Jr. (Kimberly). Jimmy was a proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Love and Truth Community Church, 3135 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
