She was born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1936 to Arthur and Gladys Palm.
Joanne was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved to travel, sing, and work in her garden.
She was a member of Jefferson Choral Society and the Bible Study Fellowship.
Survivors include three sons, Mark McClelland, Matt McClelland and wife Elizabeth, and Linn McClelland; a brother, Thomas Palm and wife Lois as well as two granddaughters, Lia McClelland and Kenzie McClelland.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Dennis Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
