Born October 15, 1953 in Narrows, Virginia he was a son of Sophie S. Richardson and the late Garland Milton Richardson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, William Clyde Richardson; niece Kari E. Cochran; nephews, Clay and Morgan Richardson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted extended family, Sandra Thompson; stepchildren, Natalie Patton, Phillip Castagner; step-grandchildren, Alexis Castagner, Ross Castagner, Arianna Patton.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Children’s Miracle Network.
