

Judy Gayle “Dewey” Goin Norcross, 60, of Blythewood, SC and formerly of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Newark, Del. after a very sudden illness. She was the wife of Walter Lee Norcross.
Born in Lynchburg, June 5, 1950, she was a daughter of Joseph William Goin and Annie Franklin Goin of Lynchburg. She was a manager with Oral Maxiofacial Surgical Associates. Judy loved life and loved her family. She was an accomplished organist and pianist. She loved to cook, play golf and care for her family and others.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Norcross of Wilmington, DE; one daughter, Heather May Norcross of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Brenda Goin Inge of Lynchburg and Peggy Goin Shaner and her husband Brad of Forest and one grandson, Micah Hunter Norcross of Wilmington, DE.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Pate Chapel of Thomas Road Baptist Church with the Pastor Jonathan Falwell and the Rev. George Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the home of her parents, 119 Middleboro Place, Lynchburg.
