A quiet, adventurous soul, Kevin was so loved by his family and leaves to grieve his father and mother, Jeffrey W. and Wendy T. Salmon of Lynchburg and his brother, Jeffrey (Stuart) Salmon of Matthews, NC.
In addition to his parents and brother, Kevin has left devastated by his loss, his grandmothers, Linda T. Salmon and Jeanette Morgan and Harvey, his great grandmother, Edith A. (Nannie) Anderson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death and welcomed by his grandfathers, Terrell Salmon, Sr. and Thomas O. Taylor and his great grandfather, who called him his Little Buddy, Edgar T. Anderson.
Kevin enjoyed the outdoors and water activities and playing video games.
A celebration of his spirit’s release will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Miear officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence of Jeffrey and Wendy Salmon.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mental Health America of Central Virginia.
His wings were ready but our hearts were not.
