Wayne was born in Lynchburg on September 2, 1942 son of the late Andrew Jackson Reynolds and the late Kathleen Chesea Tolley Reynolds. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Reynolds.
He was a loving husband and father, who was employed by Liberty University as a postal specialist.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sandra Coleman Reynolds; a son, Timothy Wayne Reynolds; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Murphy and her husband, John; two brothers, Jerry Reynolds and his wife Lori and Calvin Reynolds. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Emily Murphy, Hannah Murphy, and Caleb Murphy.
