Leanna McClure Whorley

Born August 12, 1976 in Lynchburg Leanna was a member of Norwood Baptist Church. She loved her family and made sure those around her felt her compassion for them. Leanna also loved her garden and to bottle feed her baby calves. As her family grew, she looked forward to watching her grandchildren grow. Leanna loved her Lord and Savior and took every opportunity to serve Him.

Leanna was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Camper Fischetti and Baby Kirkland.

Left to cherish Leanna’s memory is her beloved husband Kyle Whorley; her father Richard Leon McClure and her step-mother Louanne McClure; her siblings Allen McClure and his wife Rebecca, Mike McClure, Annie Seay and her husband Tim, Christina Hall and her husband Bo; her children Clifton Kirkland and his wife Kaitlyn, Jeremiah Kirkland and his wife Andrea; her step-children Brandon Whorley, Brent Whorley, Jeremy Whorley; her grandchildren Clay Kirkland, Easton Kirkland; her best friend Glenna Gilliland; and countless nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Leanna will be held at Norwood Baptist Church on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Sam Stump.
