Lois was -- as our eldest cousin -- a lady to look up to! She was dignified yet light hearted and always made you feel important when you contributed something. It was wonderful to see her, Ken, and her beautiful sisters and their spouses at my parents' 60th wedding anniversary celebration on Long Island. Although we didn't get to see each other very often, she holds a fond place in my heart from when I was a little girl and she was a cool teenager.

With fond memories,
Meryl Moritz (Helen & Ed's daughter)

I worked with Lois for many years, even before she was a Schroeder, and want all to know what a fine lady she was. She will be missed.
We send our most sincere condolences.

I worked with Lois and Ken years ago at B&W on Old Forest Road. I remember her as a classy lady. It was a treat to see her each day and see what beautiful outfit she wore that day. She was the epitome of an executive secretary. In later years I became a neighbor and we would usually meet on our street to walk our pups. True to her style, she was dressed impeccably. We both had lost our husbands and shared how we missed such a big part of our lives.
She was a very special lady.
