Lois West Trent

Born in Campbell County April 12, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. West.

She was a member of Evington United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl West, James West, and John West as well as two sisters, Irene Otis West and Jane Burnette.

Mrs.Trent is survived by two sons, Ronnie Trent and Jerry Trent and his wife Thomasa all of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Paul Trent of Raleigh, NC and Lynn Jones of Lynchburg; one great grandchild, Travis Jones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Summit, 1400 Enterprise Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502 or Centra Hospice, 2097 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Evington United Methodist Church with Reverend Marci Huntsman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
