She was preceded in death by her father Walter J. Hess and her mother Janice Ann Hess.
She is survived by her daughter Crystal and her Husband JW Mays of Hurt; sisters Wanda and her husband Ricky Layne of Boonsboro and Annette (Essie) and her husband George Gibson of Coleman Falls; and her nieces, nephews and her beloved fur baby Fluffy.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel on Friday, November 28, 2025. There will be a Celebration of Loretta’s Life service on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1pm at Lebanon United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Mike Dodson with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
