Malcolm "Ed" Eddie Crawford

Born on August 11, 1939 in Amherst County, he was the son of the late Malcolm Loving Crawford and the late Mandy Frances Martin Crawford. Ed retired from Delta Star after 42 years of service in January 2005 for the sole purpose of spoiling his two grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed working on cars and going to the flea market.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Sherry Crawford Sheets and husband Teddy; two grandchildren, Natalie Frances Sheets and Toby Edward Sheets; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Keith Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 6 pm. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Tree of Life Cemetery.
