Margaret Ann Branham Roberts

Born December 5, 1946 in Amherst County, she was a daughter of the late Onnie and Alice Hicks Branham. Mrs. Roberts was an active member of the Monacan Indian Nation and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Margie Ann Darby and husband, Ken, Frances Roberts and fiancé Jack Spruce; three step-children, Clyde Thomas Roberts, Jr., Betty Jane Howell, Gilford Ronnie Roberts; a brother, Larry Branham and sister, Linda Salyers; two grandchildren, whom she adored, Justin Thomas and Amber Dawn Crawford and a great-grandchild, Nick Crawford.

Margaret was a devoted wife and mother, and she enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Rev. Scott Dean. Interment will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday.
