“Stinky”

Martha Louise “Stinky” Wright, 53, of Lynchburg, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at her residence.

Born October 22, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. Pentecost and Effie Jennings Martin and was also preceded in death by a son, Elmer Kenneth “Shorty” Wright; a sister, Linda Diane Barker and two grandchildren, Christian Clark and Serenity Payne.

“Stinky” is survived by two daughters, Brandy K. Clark and husband, Robert of Evington and Francis N. Barker of Lynchburg; three brothers, Robert Pentecost and wife, Margaret of Florida, David Pentecost and Michael Pentecost and wife, Teresa, all of Texas; one sister, Myrtle Deaner of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Corey Wright, Whitney Ayers, McKenndre Zeno, and Devin Burks; her boyfriend, Gilbert Huffman; a brother-in-law, Mike Barker and a special friend, Norma Jean.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m.
