Michael Alexander Buckles

Born September 29, 2000 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Larry M. and Teresa Sorocco Buckles and is also survived by two sisters, Katelyn Destiny Buckles and Stormy Ann Buckles; one brother, Jeremy Robert Buckles; his grandmother, Dorene Ann Buckles; two uncles, Charles Sorocco and Randy Steele and a cousin, Jessica Steel Holland.

Michael was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Smith Sorocco and an aunt, Melissa Steele.

Michael was a student at Rustburg High School, where he was about to complete his freshman year.

While he was only fifteen years old, Michael lived a very full life and was loved by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dorene Buckles officiating. There will be a time of fellowship following the service.
