

Born in Pittsylvania County, June 29, 1930, he was the son of the late James Thomas Bradner and Ela McCrickard Bradner. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War, retired Vice President of Sam K. Pate and Associates and was a long time member of Thomas Road Baptist Church where he served on the board of Deacons.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Dewey Bradner, J. Clarence Bradner, Elton Bradner, J.T. Bradner, Jr. and Alley Bradner and five sisters, Arlene B. Elder, Estelle B. Balderston, Lucille B. Salmon, Sadie B. Lawrence and Cassie B. Watts.
Oma is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his church family and friends.
A service celebrating his life and faith will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 in the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
