Pat was employed as an inspector for General Electric, where her dedication and attention to detail were evident in her work. Beyond her professional life, she found great fulfillment in volunteer work, notably at the Old City Cemetery, where she devoted nine years of service between 2009 and 2018.
Her interests were as varied as they were vibrant. Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as working in her yard, sewing, painting, knitting, and engaging in cross stitch and crossword puzzles. She had a passion for reading and could often be found immersed in a good book. Pat enjoyed going on trips with her family and friends and she also cherished moments spent with her beloved dogs.
Pat is survived by her daughters: Marie Gordon (Jim) of Conneaut Lake, PA, Diann Frampton (Dennis) of Meadville, PA, Robbi Ragland (David) of Forest VA, Patsy Holt (Mark) of Rustburg VA, and her son, Duane Spencer (Lauren) of Kernersville NC. Additionally, she is survived by her stepdaughters: Janet Stallsmith (Finn) of Madison, Virginia and Judy Kinzer (David) of Lynchburg, VA, and stepson, Michael Spencer of Orange, Virginia. She leaves behind a legacy of love to her ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and eleven step great-grandchildren. Pat also cherished a special friendship with Ted Delaney of Lynchburg VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Josiah Firster and Marie Rita Raab Firster, her brothers Brennan Firster and Duane Firster, and one stepson, Edward Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Campbell County Humane Society, a cause dear to Pat's heart.
The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Pat's life at a later date, with arrangements entrusted to Whitten Timberlake Chapel, who is assisting the family during this time of mourning.
May she rest in eternal peace.
