Patsy Jo Rogers

Born November 5, 1945, in Panther, WV, she was the daughter of the late Glen McCoy and the late Violet (Bailey) McCoy. Pat was the wife of her late first husband Reed Simmons and her late second husband Troy Rogers. She was pre-deceased by three siblings, Jesse, Ray, and Wilene.

Pat is survived by two siblings, Glen (Dorothy) McCoy of Amherst and Wilma Wilcox of Hanover, PA; as well as nieces and nephews, including Lydia Hoover, Glen Fearson, Todd Fearson, and Tracy Fearson.

Prior to relocating to Amherst, Pat lived in the Baltimore, MD area for several years. Pat worked at many professions over the years and, most recently, was a retired clerk for Walmart. Pat enjoyed reading prose and poetry, working crossword puzzles in pen, and playing trivia. She was warm-hearted, funny, smart, independent, creative, and a lifelong dog lover.

The family would especially like to thank the hospital’s oncology nurses who treated our beloved aunt and sister with compassion and dignity for her entire stay.
