Paul Dwight Wright, age 70, passed away on April 29, 2024. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Paul was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to Roberta Kathy Wright for 30 years and was a devoted family man.
Paul had a successful career as a professional cook, specializing in Texas Cheese Steak, a dish he prepared with love for his family. He worked in various local restaurants, delighting patrons with his culinary skills.
Outside of work, Paul enjoyed many hobbies. He had a passion for gardening and spending time in the yard, always seeking treasures at flea markets and yard sales. He loved watching movies and taking long car rides through the countryside.
Paul is survived by his wife, Roberta Kathy Wright; his daughter, Rebecca Kahle; and his cherished grandchildren, Sunnie Kahle and Spencer Dodd-Kahle.
The family is being assisted by Whitten Timberlake Chapel during this difficult time.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
