She was born in Clark Mills, NY on May 23, 1920 to the late William James Taylor and Bessie Ford Taylor. She retired from Sears.
She is survived by her son, Randall R. Brown and his wife Mary of Forest; one sister, Rosemary Ashcraft of Arden, NC; one granddaughter, Heather Brown of Forest and three nieces, Sharon Donald of Lynchburg, Dawn Heartless of Gladstone and Cynthia Claytor of Waynesboro.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating.
