Richard Owen Crowder

Rick was born, September 17, 1964 in Lynchburg, the son of Owen Crowder of Hurt and the late Dana Finch Crowder. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Addie Finch and paternal grandparents, Otis and Janie Crowder.

In addition to his father, Rick is survived by his sister, Kim Wood and husband, Bobby of Madison Heights; niece, Mallory Wood; nephew, Travis Wood and a host of other relatives.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Lanham officiating.

The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and other times at the home of his sister, 201 Sage Lane, Madison Heights.
