Rodney Wayne Ferguson

Born February 25, 1966 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Clyde Roberts Ferguson, Jr. of Evington and Sandra Clark of Lynchburg. Rodney was a former employee of Buncher Rail Car Service and was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife and parents, Rodney is survived two stepchildren, Albert Gowen of Rustburg and Tiffany White and her husband Jamie of Madison Heights; one brother, Christopher Allen Ferguson and his wife Tiffany of Evington; two grandchildren, Jayleigh White and Bryson White; his maternal grandmother, Leeanna Massie of Lynchburg; numerous nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Ray Staples of Rustburg..

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Appomattox with Pastor J. Mike Dodson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
