Born April 15, 1933 in Fieldale, VA, she was a daughter of the late Charles Rufus Jackson and Catherine Meck Jackson.
In addition to her husband she is survived by son, Harold Linwood Leonard (Yco); daughters, Judith L. Geer (Ed), Christine S. Abbott (John); brothers, Charles “Sunny” Jackson (Ocie), Frank Jackson (Doris); 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2012 at 12:30 pm in Cumbie Cemetery conducted by the Rev. William Westgate.
