Born June 20, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late James Eules Price, Sr. and Eula Sloan Price and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Sloan and Donnie Price and a sister, Betty Price. He was a self-employed brick mason.
In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Justin Price; sibling, Hallie Baldwin and husband Wade, Joyce Childress and husband Robert, James Price, Jr. and wife Linda, Barbara Lee, and Patsy Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. Interment will follow at the Gilbert Family Cemetery on East Ferry Road in Gladys.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.
