Ruth Loved gardening, working with her crafts and flowers, but especially spending time doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Debora R. Shiro and husband Bob, and Denise R. Tyree and husband Eddie; a son, Darrel L. Ross; Five grandchildren, Jennifer Spencer and husband Wymann, Lauren Daniel and husband Morgan, Brian Ross and wife Lauren, Kelsey Clay and Maria Washburn; three great grandchildren, Gavin Woods, Tilden Woods and Gypsy Spencer.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Rev. Edward Jones officiating. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the service until 8:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Virginia Memorial Park.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge Rev. Edward Jones and Mrs. Clara Jones, their family, as well as the Bolling Hill Baptist Church, for the endless caring, dedication and love that they gave to Ruth and her family.
