Born in Cheverly, Maryland, July 13, 1948, she was the daughter of the late George Harold Franklin, Jr. and the late Gladys Lavinia Haydon Franklin.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Barrick, Sr.; three daughters, Tammie Haller, Lisa Lacey and Dawn Chandler; one step-son, Thomas Ray Barrick, Jr.; one step-daughter, Kimberly Anne Young; two sisters, Ula Lorber and Sandra Barbee; two brothers, George Lee Franklin and Calvin Franklin; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Haller, Sean Edward Haller, Katherine Lynn Haller, Krystle Marie Lacey, Aaron Tyler Johnson, Spencer Young, Wyatt Young, Gabriel Young, Tyler Young, Elora Young, Casey Barrick and Tayler Barrick and one great-grandchild, Jackson Ryan Owens.
Inurnment services will be scheduled at a later date at Fort Lincoln Memorial Park.
