AUX SOINS DE
Whitten Timberlake Chapel
Stephen Charles Browning, II, 51 of Lynchburg, VA left his earthly home unexpectedly on April 19, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Lou Browning; his paternal Nanny and Pop-pa, Anna Lou and Rubal Browning; and his maternal Grandma and Grandpa, Glenna Lou and Carl Adkins, Jr. He dearly missed his sweet girl, Diamond.
Steve is survived by his father, Stephen Charles Browning of Fayetteville, WV and his sisters, Teresa Browning of Mullens, WV and Katherine Browning of Beckley, WV. He was a special uncle to 5 nephews, Hunter and Kaci Horton of Birmingham, AL, Fisher Horton and Kelly Ransom, Issak Young, Dakota Young, and Bryson Hutchinson all of Beckley, WV. And a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
In addition to his immediate family, Steve is survived by the love of his life, Heather Goodwin Browning of Lynchburg, VA and the family they shared together. Savannah and Luca, Colton, Carson, Gabe, Sadie, Keelyn and Ry-Ry were so loved by Steve, and they adored him as well. He was so proud of each of them, and was especially proud to be Pops to Luca.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman and was always ready for the next adventure. He and Heather shared a love of chasing waterfalls, hiking and camping together. He loved whitewater kayaking with his friends, sitting by a roaring campfire and having Little D ride shotgun.
Steve always had a ready smile and big bear hug for his people. He had a huge heart and he loved hard.
Though he’s gone, a part of him will forever be in the hearts and memories of all he held dear.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
