Stephen “Steve” Michael Guthrie, 57, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born March 13, 1961 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Warren Percy Guthrie, Jr. and the late Mary Neas Guthrie Stone. He was a self- employed construction worker and was of Baptist faith.

Steve is survived by his son, Stephen Guthrie and wife Cynthia of Lynchburg; his daughter, Miranda Dalton and husband Jerry of Concord; a brother, Donald Guthrie and wife Shelly of Naola; two sisters, Diane Phelps and husband Bob and Phyllis Woodall, all of Lynchburg; six grandchildren and longtime friends, Johnny Blankenship, Troy Blankenship, and Bobby Wooldridge.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
