Susan Lambert Younger

Susan Lambert Younger, 63, of Evington, died, Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence. Born December 1, 1949, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Boston McKinley Lambert and the late Jane Fortune Lambert.

Susan was a retired quality control technician for B&W, where she worked for 30 years. She was also a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, Susan was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Cherie Edwards.

Susan is survived by her three children, Joseph Daniel Younger and his wife Michele of Gretna, Teresa Norman and her husband Charles of Arlington and Michele Happs and her husband David of Rustburg; one sister, Brenda Evans of Evington; one brother, Ronald Lambert and his wife Cheryl of Florence, SC; eight grandchildren, Brooke Edwards, Erik Happs, Morgan Happs, Jay Younger, Mikayla Younger, Emily Happs, Margot Norman and Caroline Norman; one great-grandson, Ryan Akers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A remembrance service will be conducted, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013, at New Hope United Methodist Church, Browns Mill Rd. in Rustburg, VA with Pastor Charlie Haley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church.
