She was born in Lynchburg on January 28, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Warren Guthrie and Maggie Guthrie. Thalia loved to work word search puzzles and loved her two cats Gidget and Tinker.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Leftwich of Concord; her son, David Scott of Lynchburg; a grandson, Jimmy Adams, Jr. of Blackstone; a great-granddaughter, Hope Taylor Adams of Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
