Thelma Brownie Alley

Thelma Brownie Alley, 92, of Lynchburg and formerly of Miami, FL. died Monday, March 18, 2013 in Lynchburg. Born in Chattanooga, TN, June 17, 1920, she was the daughter of the late David Brownie Ketner and Bonnie Ella Christmas. She was a retired teacher from the Miami-Dade County school system and was a member of Coral Gables United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Maynard Alley and one grandson, Chip Arnold. Survivors include one son, Don Alley of Lynchburg; one daughter, Sherye Arnold and her husband Tom of Lynchburg and six grandchildren, Terri Hotaling, Missy Martin, Don Alley, Jr., Suzzette Warsaw, Lynda Alley and Lisa Alley.
